Dec 15, 2015 · Anyway, initially seemed to rev past the 3000 mark better with no problem but after ten mins of driving, still with no feel of a turbo , although they say the turbo is fine, it then wouldn't go past 4000 rpm in third, wouldn't go past 3000 rpm in 4th or 2500 in 5th, then, lit up like an Xmas tree with eps fault handbrake failure and service light.
A quick insertion of a link between the break and all the errors have gone. Unbelievable! To help others I had had the following faults. ABS Fault, Brake fault, EPS fault, Depollution fault, Handbrake fault, Gearbox fault, Power steering fault. EGS Gearbox would only change using paddles from 1st up to 3rd.

Jun 14, 2022 · Citroen C4 Picasso - Handbrake faulty message on Cit C4 57 - RichardW : Get it scanned and check for EGR faults. Sometimes there is a fault which interrupts the engine speed data to the ABS / ESP ECU which controls the handbrake, but doesn't put the EML on.
Dec 1, 2015 · I was told the reason for this happening was the battery I put in was too powerful and blew this part. Was told the battery had to be 70AH no higher. Almost certainly something shorted out, probably during the removal or replacement of the battery. The battery capacity is completely irrelevant.

Mar 21, 2021 · 2013 Citroen C4 Picasso. suddenly, this morning, several warning lights came on (ASR, Parking Brake, Tyre Deflation and Eco) and cruise control not working. Ran diagnostic and it said repairs needed. The Parking brake works fine but no indication on the touch screen appears. The ASR button lights up and stays lit.
Jul 1, 2014 · C4 picasso 9HY 2006. There is a fault in FSE: C155A - hanbrake is not calibrated. First the story: handbrake was not working from the moment buyer get the car. At one service they changed stucked cables, but FSE only clicked and didnt work. Then they opened it and saw burned relay in control unit.
Mar 8, 2018 · Help. To avoid main dealer I have now visited 3 garages to try solve issue. Warning lights showing esp/asr fault auto handbreak not working and abs failure. To date they have changed the o/s r sensor twice , first non main dealer and now main dealer.
Feb 10, 2015 · Although within service interval they said it was common for water to build up in the filter and then freeze in cold conditions blocking the flow of diesel. They also said the EGR valve was sticking open. I got them to change the fuel filter but not the EGR valve as they couldn't do it that day and it would've added £250 on to the bill.
The parking brake can be released without the engine running. Turn the key until the 'ignition' is on. Put your foot on the footbrake, and press the 'handbrake' button. You may have to use the button again to reapply the brake, although if you start the engine and stop it again the brake should apply.
Around 2 weeks ago it then started displaying the handbrake fault again, even when the auto handbrake was off. This prevented us being bale to engage the handbrake at all when parked. After the car sat parked for a couple of days (in gear), the fault would clear and all would be well until somewhere through the journey it would go into fault again.

Car drives without any issues (apart from the automatic handbrake is not working). Handbrake works manually perfectly well. Start the car and get the following three warnings on the console screen: "Handbrake Faulty"" ESP/ASR System Faulty", and " Depollution System Faulty" I then have the following codes come up:

May 26, 2021 · First of all hello to everyone, I'm a new C4 owner so nice to see a good community here. I have a c4 grand Picasso which has a very annoying knocking noise while driving. I took a video so you can hear the noise which I will try to upload to the post but not sure if I can. The noise comes when going over bumps and sound like a metal clunking noise.
